Our Dentist is passionate about helping people take care
of their overall dental hygiene.
Cavities begin as small holes on a tooth's surface, but can decay all the way down to the tooth's root if left untreated. Rough tooth surfaces can be breeding grounds for bacteria and plaque.
The usual symptom of advanced decay is a sharp pain when eating or drinking. In some cases, the decayed area of a tooth becomes infected. Infections can cause pain so intense it is difficult to work or even sleep.
Regular dental checkups and good dental hygiene are your best bet to prevent or reduce cavities. Regular checkups can catch problems early when treatment is easier, less expensive and can usually be completed with minimum discomfort.
A dental implant is the next best thing to the real thing. Nothing replaces your natural teeth, but dental implants can come close. Implants have been used for many years. They are man-made “anchors” that look like screws and are made of titanium and other materials that are compatible with the human body. The single tooth implant is placed by surgery in the upper or lower jaw, where it replaces your missing tooth’s root(s).
An implant looks and acts like a natural tooth. It fits securely even when you chew and speak. A single tooth implant does not involve treatment to your other teeth. Plus, it may also help you keep a good level of bone around your teeth.
Your smile is one of the first things a person will notice about you. If your smile is yellowed and stained, you probably don't feel very confident about the way that it looks. This might cause you to avoid smiling altogether or avoid certain situations where you're going to be seeing or meeting people for the first time.
Bleaching procedures performed in the our dentist’s office involve a few additional steps namely, that a protective gel or guard is positioned over the gums before the bleaching agent is applied, and the whitening process is hastened with the use of heat, a special light, or laser light that is directed at the chemically coated teeth.
A key guiding principal when choosing the clinical staff for Dental Clinic was to provide as many services as possible within the practice. In order to achieve this all the dental team are continuously updating their skills and taking on further course of study to obtain qualifications and therefore provide more services to the patient. We can provide implants, orthodontics (braces), periodontal services (gum treatment), oral surgery, endodontics (root canal treatments) and dental sedation to name but a few. Our current search is for a specialist paediatric dentist (children’s dentist),There are so many children who need just a little bit more. There is no other dental team who has the variety of skills, expertise and level of qualifications as we have in our Dental Clinic.
Our Dental Clinic was established in 2006. Dr. x as her patients know her, wanted to establish a dental practice, with the principal, the patient comes first. The practice is not a chain store dental clinic, but a dental clinic where you can establish a relationship of trust with your dentist. We realise in our Dental Clinic that patients can feel vulnerable and anxious regarding dental treatment and so the relationship between dentist and patient is the core value in the practice. We regularly give our patients confidential feedback forms, so that we can see how we are preforming, and of course falling short, and adjust our practices accordingly. Our door is always open for feedback.
The patients within our practice are everyone from toddlers to senior citizens, patients who require routine maintenance to patient who require complex rehabilitation. We cater for all dental patients will all different levels of need. Each and every one of our patients are important to us. It all starts with our initial thorough examination, resulting in clear diagnosis of problems, if any, followed by a clear treatment plan. We try to make it as clear and transparent as possible. At the end of the plan we like to have a happy patient able to smile confidently and eager to return for their next dental visit.
